The Community Healing Garden project is one that will inspire wellness and healing for residents and staff of the Lummi Youth Academy, as well as a destination healing and gathering space for the greater Lummi community. The Community Healing Garden will not solely be a garden for traditional plants and foods, but will also feature a healing wall, performing arts stage, gathering space, salmon barbeque pit, and a Salish house post and recreation area—located behind the Lummi Youth Academy in a 13,000 Square Ft. space.
We look to you, our community, to become the bridge of support that will allow for this Healing Garden to become reality. Together we can create significant change in the lives of our community and for the future of our children.
The Lummi Youth Academy has partnered with The Lummi CEDAR Project, a Native American, community-based non-profit organization serving the Lummi Indian Reservation in Bellingham, Washington.
